Make it Yourself Monday: Pesto

What is one to do with spare walnuts… Oh right, Pesto! And yes I know that most people use pine nuts, but walnuts are easier to find so I use them instead.



1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves

1/3 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan

1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

3-4 tablespoons Walnuts

2 cloves Pealed Garlic

Salt & Pepper to taste


  1. Throw everything into a food processor and blend until smooth
  2. Enjoy!


Easy! So so easy! Feel free to adjust as needed. I use my most quality ingredients with this recipe, I find it makes such a difference.
